Frequently Asked Questions

Logos and Design

How long until I get my designs?

Three working days. Other places make you pay more for urgent orders, but at Threesite, we’ll always deliver your initial concepts fast.

In what formats will I receive my design files?

We want you to be able to use your designs, so we’ll send you a zip folder with all your design files, including… Raw Vector (EPS), PNG, JPG, TIF, PDF and Font files (optional).

If you need it in another format not listed above, we’re glad to help. Just ask.

How do logo design revisions work?

We’ll start off by giving you multiple design concepts. Keep in mind that the design process is highly iterative and collective, so we send you the initial designs, we’ll ask for your opinion to make the designs even better.

Usually, our customers ask us to tweak colors, fonts and layout. Sometimes, they even ask us to merge two concepts.

Whatever the revision, big or small, we’ll continue to revise your design until it’s perfect.

Who owns the copyright for my final design?

You do. It’s that simple.

General

Do you guys do design contests?

No, we don’t. We have full-time graphic designers in a team with an average of 3+ years’ experience in logo and branding.

We assign projects based on that individual designer’s proficiency. For instance, one designer might be really good at artistic logos whereas another is really good at typographical logos.

Our project managers are specialists at making sure to pick the best designer for the your design job.

Do you assign project manager on every project?

Yes. Every single project we do are managed by a dedicated project manager and is an expert in all things design.

Your project Manager will be your primary point of contact for all your projects.

What is spec work and what’s your view on that?

Spec work (short for speculative) is any job for which the client expects to see examples or a finished product before agreeing to pay a fee.

At Threesite, we are 100% against spec work. We believe it is immoral to ask designers to submit work in meager hopes of getting paid. That’s why all of our designers receive a fair full-time salary for designs they create.

Where are you guys located?
We’ve offices in Augusta, KY and Ahmedabad, India. We’ve full-time designers, programmers, marketers and virtual assistants in a team. We never outsource to any third-parties.

What kind of paper do you recommend?

For business cards, you have your choice of three paper types:

  • 120#, 14pt, Glossy (super shiny, heavyweight cardstock)
  • 120#, 14pt, Dull-Matte (Our favorite, because it has an ever-so-slight sheen, and is a nice heavyweight cardstock

For Letterhead, we recommend Hammermill 70# Lustre – An absolutely beautiful paperstock that performs well in both Laser and Inkjet printers.
